It is with great sadness the family of Doug Sinclair announce his sudden passing in Regina, SK on Wednesday September 17, 2014 at the age of 67 years. He was predeceased by his parents John and Helen Sinclair; brothers Lorne and Jim Sinclair; father-in-law Morris Poitras; and good friend Paul Lafontaine. Doug is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Lola; his children, Brad (Natalie), Ryan, Kiley (Larry), and Alicia (Aaron) Rodgers, as well as his twin daughters Sherry and Terry; his grandchildren Alexandra, Noah, Gabriel, and Taylor; his sisters Beatrice Ismond and Marlene Ermel, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Doug was born on January 20, 1947 in Lestock, SK. Doug was especially proud of his children and four grandchildren; he was a provincial champion snooker player, avid golfer and true friend. Doug brought a smile to everyone’s face with his many stories and infectious laugh that could be heard from miles around. He loved to tease and joke with everyone;. Prayers will be on Sunday, September 21 at 7:00pm at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home on 2080 Victoria Ave East. The funeral will be held on Monday, September 22 at 11:00 am at the same location, interment in Riverside Memorial Park. Lunch to follow at the Polish Club on 1925 Winnipeg St. A special thank you to the first responders and medical staff at Regina General Hospital for all of their help. God wanted to make the other angels laugh so he called Doug home. He will be missed by many. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family.
