August 27, 1917 – January 26, 2012

It is with great sadness that we, her family, announce her passing from this life in her 94th year on January the 26, 2012. She is survived by her children Jeanne Thomas, Marian Lochbaum (Bill Spruyt), & Frank Brenner, and all their children and grandchildren, and one sister-in-law Elizabeth (Zerr) Laturnas, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by all of her immediate family, parents Joseph & Magdalina (Stephen) Laturnas, sister Catharina in childhood, Regena (Jacob) Wollbaum, brother Steve in his young manhood, Leonard (Katherine) Stanley, John (Regena), Adrien, Joseph in his young manhood, Paul at birth, son-in-law Lorne Thomas, niece Bernice Laturnas Schaffer, nephew Steve Laturnas & Carl Brenner, the father of her children. Prayers will be held tonight, Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 7:00pm at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 East Victoria Avenue. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross R.C. Church, 315 East Douglas Avenue, Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 10:30 am, with Interment to follow at St Joseph’s Colony Historical Cemetery, Balgonie, SK.
