Erna Johnston

Erna was called home on March 4, 2021 at the age of 87 years, with her loving family by her side. She was predeceased by her parents Eric and Myrtle Ellis and her loving husband Gordon. Left to cherish her memory are her loving children Lynn (Dale), Cheryl (Don), and Sandy (Jeff); grandchildren Tara (Nick), Shanna (Ryan), Janelle (Ken), Derek (Joelle), Quinton (Shawna), Simon, Carmen, Tyler (Leia) and Wade; great grandchildren Ella, Brayden, Clark, Lauren, Quinn, Emmett, Jude, Rowan, Keira, Wyatt, Emery, Olivia, Nora, and Elena. Mom’s life revolved around loving and caring for her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She had a special spot for seniors as seen throughout her nursing career in Regina and Saskatoon and which carried on in later life, in communities she resided in. Mom’s kindness, compassion and thoughtfulness touched the lives of all who came in contact with her. The family offers special thanks to the staff of Harvest Haven who provided special care and companionship, Pasqua Hospital – 4B and Grace Hospice who provided skill, compassion, and support. Due to Covid 19 restrictions a Celebration of Life will be for the immediate family only. Those wishing to join in may do so on the Lee Funeral Home and Crematorium Facebook page on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Saskatchewan.
