Evelyn McLash

With sad hearts, the family of Evelyn McLash announces her passing on August 7, 2015 at Parkside Extendicare Nursing Home. Evelyn was born on April 14, 1931 in the McDonald Hills area of Saskatchewan and spent the majority of her life in her beloved home town of Cupar. A loving grandma, aunt, dedicated employee and an avid sports fan, she was predeceased by her parents Dan and Helen George; brothers Stan and Gab; and sister-in-law Florence. Evelyn is survived by her son Allen (Eleanor) McLash; her grandsons Mathew McLash (Tammy) and Justin McLash (Athena); great-grandchildren Adam, Madeline, Scarlett, Merryck and Aurelia; siblings Danny (Elsie) Georges, Barry (Verla) Georges and Pat Neil. Special thanks to her nieces and nephews for their love and support, as well as to the good folks at Parkside for the compassionate care that Evelyn received. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Evelyn’s memory to St. Cuthbert’s Anglican Church, Dysart, SK; Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan (1738 Quebec Avenue, Unit 26, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, S7K 1V9), Cupar Cemetery (116 Stanley Street, Cupar, Saskatchewan, S0G 0Y0) or to the charity of your choice.
