Frank is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Beatrice (nee Krall); sons Charles (Carol), Douglas (Pattie) and Bill and daughter Natalie (Wade McGillivrary). Frank was blessed with fifteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers George (Frances), Frederick (Theresa) and Al (Georginia); sister Gladys Melle; sisters-in-law Irene Terry and Carolina Terry; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Frank was a loving, caring husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was always ready to teach his grandchildren how to fish, and hunt geese, ducks, deer and moose. He taught them how to cut up the meat and grind it to make hamburger and sausage. Frank was a very hard worker especially during berry picking time and loved working in his garden. Everything he grew, grew really big, especially potatoes, vegetables and cabbages featuring heads weighing 20-28 pounds. He brought one to our Seniors’ Wednesday Bingo and couldn’t get over the size. Frank gave one 28 pound cabbage to one of our senior friends and she said “Can you imagine how many cabbage rolls I could make?! Wow!”Frank worked at the Power House, which produced heat for the Legislative building, Wascana building and T.C. Douglas building. He later worked maintenance at the T.C. Douglas building with his steam ticket and air conditioning ticket until he retired. Prayers will be held at St. Cecilia R.C.
