

On July 20, 2014, Jean Taylor, late of Regina, Sask., passed away at the age of 96 years. Following 61 loving years of marriage, Jean was predeceased by her husband Les in 2004. Jean is survived by three children, Dave (Pat), Ken (Shirley), daughter Barbara (Don) Phillips; grandchildren Brad (Jenny), Mark (Sarah), Doug (Karen), Mike, Graeme (Andrea), Scott and Leigh (Chris); great-grandchildren Bridget, Burke, Jack, Max, Brittany, Elliott, Charlie, and Brodie; brother David (Mary) Greenshields of White Rock, BC. Jean enjoyed an active lifestyle and was an accomplished skater, tennis player, badminton player and curler and was a self-proclaimed "Cribbage Champion of the World". Her mission in life was to ensure that "all the cousins got to know one another" through regular Sunday dinners with all the kids and grandkids. Jean was born, raised, educated, married, employed, and raised a family in Regina, the city she loved to call home. She retired in 1981 and enjoyed summers in Birch Bay, Washington. Jean enjoyed the friendships made at Regina Village for 17 years. The family wish to thank the staff of Wascana Heights Care Home, the staff of Unit 4A at Pasqua Hospital and Wascana Grace Hospice at William Booth that helped her complete the final lap of her almost 97 year journey. She crossed the finish line a Champion!
