John Frank Augustine

John Frank Augustine (Augie) born August 31, 1960 and passed away March 11, 2021 at the Pasqua Hospital with his niece by his side after a 6-month battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Gerta Augustine, brothers in-law John Puff and Ed Geiger, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins that he loved very much. Left to mourn are his three sisters Patricia Puff, her children Ellie Jo (Jason) Watts & children, Wanita Puff & child, JR (Ronni) Puff & children, Robert (Cassie) Puff & children; sister Frances (Randy) Gaebel, her children Frank (Crystal) Gaebel & child, Cindy (Chris) Covey & children, Josh (Amanda) Gaebel & children; youngest sister Cora Geiger, her children Dwayne Geiger, and Natasha (Shawn) Hartman & child as well as numerous great - great niece and nephews. He also left behind aunts Celine, Rose, Gladys, and Doreen, numerous cousins, his Godchildren, many good friends, and chums.

He was born in Marathon, Ontario and moved to Grayson Saskatchewan in 1963. He spent his school years in St. Joseph’s Colony before finally moving to Regina. He made many friends while traveling around with the tire industry. He was a bachelor through and through and lived his life just like he wanted. Anyone that knew him, knew he cherished his “babies” the most, Haywire, Coco, Thor & Reba. He was an avid golfer and absolutely loved the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He was always up for some hunting, fishing, and camping with friends. He had the biggest heart and was always there for family and friends.

He will be deeply missed by his sisters and anyone that knew him. In lieu of flowers a donation to Allan Blair Cancer Clinic, Palliative Care or Regina Humane Society would be appreciated.

At this time, due to COVID-19 restrictions, a small private service by invitation only will be held to celebrate Augie’s life on March 20, 2021.
