Charlie’s family is saddened to announce his passing on July 30, 2011. He was predeceased by his parents George and Alice Longman, and Mervin Bitternose; sister Ramona Whitehawk and brothers William Longman and Joseph Mervin Cyr; grandparents Joseph and Clara Cyr, John and Isabelle Bitternose. He is survived by his siblings Shirley Whitehawk, Brenda (Mark) Longman , George (April) Longman, Daniel (Lisa) Longman, Shauna Longman , Jeffery (Charlene) Longman, Marie (Jimmy) Desjarlais, & Steven (Donna)Cyr; his loving children Gerri-Lynne Cote, Charisse Cyr, Damien (Viola) Severight, Amy (Les) Cyr, Colton (Larissa) Cyr, Lacey Cyr, Zachary Cyr; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, many friends, as well as his favourite aunt Maude Cyr and twin cousin Elaine Cyr who was born on the same day. Wake will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at 4:00 pm at George Gordon Education Complex, Gordon First Nation. Funeral Will be held on Friday, August 5, 2011 at 2:00pm.
