Juan Mangaoang

July 1, 1962 - May 23, 2025

Juan “Johnny” Mangaoang returned to his heavenly home on Friday May 23, 2025, at the age of 62. As a Filipino, his love and devotion to his family and his firm faith in the Lord Jesus Christ were his great qualities.

Manong or Kuya Johnny known to many, was born on July 1, 1962 in La Union, Philippines. He arrived in Regina, Saskatchewan on November 28, 2010 with his family. He worked at Regina Airport Authority and Bennet Dunlop Ford. Kuya Johnny enjoyed singing, especially worship songs and spending time with his families and friends.

He is survived by his wife Encar Mangaoang of Regina SK; children Christian (Apple), Judie (Barney) in BC, and Hanna (Kenneth); grandchildren- Xanarie Seraphim, Gideon Reign, Jehanne Aveline, Quay Matthias, Brielle Anaya, Stellar Zia; mother Corazon Mangaoang, La Union Philippines; siblings- Liberato and Christina Mangaoang of La Union, Philippines; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends in Canada and Philippines.

A Celebration of Life of Manong Johnny and Visitation for family and friends will be held on May 30, 2025, Friday, at 6:00 PM at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home at 2080 Victoria Avenue East, Regina, Saskatchewan S4N 7B9. The service will be officiated by Pastor Ryan Barraca of Jesus Is Alive Community Edmonton.
