A beautiful person, like Rod, gone too soon. I enjoyed the meals our families had together with the visits late into the evening.

Some people pass through our lives for a short while but leave behind a lasting light. Laverne was one of those people,  steady, kind, and quietly remarkable. Working with her was a joy, and even years later our catch-ups were filled with the same warmth and laughter that made her so special. My condolences to her family and friends.

I was so deeply saddened to hear of Laverne’s passing.  I have many memories of the years we spent together on the volleyball court. I will always remember her smile, her kindness and her gentle spirit. My thoughts and prayers are with Laverne’s family and to everyone who loved her.

Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your wonderful mother, daughter and sister, Laverne.  I will always cherish the wonderful memories I have of her.  We worked together for many years and our friendship lasted for many more years beyond that.  Even though it was extremely difficult to say good-bye, I am thankful that I was able to be with her and tell her that I loved her.  She was an amazing lady who I am blessed to be able to call my friend,  and I will miss her beyond words.  She will remain in my heart and memories forever.

Growing up Laverne and Rod were like my second parent's. Always welcomed me with open arms and we’re truly great people! They will be deeply missed. My heart goes out to my brother Brayden and his sisters during this difficult time.

Sending condolences to Laverne's family. This has come as a shock to me today.  Laverne was one of those people who made an impact - always. Never too busy to assist, always accommodating, treated her SaskTel peers/clients with the utmost respect. She was so smart, so kind and so lovely. I am so sorry to those left to grieve.

Sending our sincerest sympathies to your family.  Laverne babysat Colin and Robin for us when she was in high school. A very sweet, kind, soft spoken girl who will always be remembered that way.
