With great sadness Lyona Mae Freisen passed away peacefully on January 5, 2025 with her family by her side at the age of 83.
Predeceased by her parents Jacob and Katherine, her husband Harvey, son in law Kevin, 5 brothers and 5 sisters.
Left to mourn her passing are her children; Beverly (Kevin), Brian (Kathy), Bonnie (Herman), Belinda (Kevin), Bert (Trina), 11 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, brother Gilbert and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service for Lyona will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Lee Funeral Home, 3101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, Saskatchewan. Reception to follow, with interment at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, 815 Assiniboine Avenue East, Regina, Saskatchewan later in the afternoon.
Lyona’s family will be forever grateful to the nursing staff and doctors at General hospital and Palliative care.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Palliative Care Unit in the Pasqua hospital.
