Mary Ann Kuntz

Mary was born October 12, 1923 and passed away peacefully at Elmview Extendicare, Regina on November 17, 2014 at the age of 91. Our Lord was waiting with a special halo for this wonderful lady for all the sacrifices she made in her life and, her family and friends are also waiting for her to come play cards and of course, the tricks she would play on them. Not only was she a mother to her own children but over the years to many others. She had home daycare for many years and became attached not only to the children but their families as well. There was always a home-cooked smell coming from her home which attracted many to stop in. She was especially noted for her homemade noodles and bread. Mary will be forever remembered by her children Vern Stoudt; Carol Kuntz (Alfred Desjarlais); Wayne “Bud” Kuntz; Penny (Leonard) Peterson and her special grandchildren raised as her own: Brad Roth (Kim Hockley); Roxanne Roth (Len Rieder); Lynn (Grant) Halkyard; Lisa (Cliff) Melland; Tracy (Stanley) Roth-Eluemelem; 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Henry Kuntz; son Lester; parents Ferdinand & Carolina (Ferstl) Staudt; siblings Katie (Jack) Ziegler; Henry (Monica); Frank (Anne); Ed (Mellie); Charlie (Theresa); Ernie; Bill (Delores); Louis (Doris); Pete (Peggy) and Martha (Art) Neil. Mary was the last of her family to leave this world.
