

It is with heavy hearts the family of Mervin Keith Morrow announce his welcoming to the Kingdom of Heaven, December 31st, 2015, after a long and courageous battle with mesothelioma. Mervin is predeceased by his parents Beatrice and George Morrow, his brother Clare and granddaughter Sharra. Mervin is survived by his number one fan, his wife, Evelyn Morrow (nee Fayant) and their four children; Edward, Darcy (Linsay), Darlene and Nicole (Jason). Mervin also leaves behind his two sisters; Marge (Paul) Beitel and Arlene (Barry) Lloyd, special friends Russ and Val and his beloved grandchildren; Bekki (James), Heather, Alicia (Tyler), Ryley, Marciel, Adam (Patricia), Lexie, Jacob, Jhanne, Emreson, and his great grandson Niklaus. Mervin was born and raised on a farm in the Moosomin/Wawota area and later his work took him to the Fort Qu’appelle region where he met and fell in love with his wife. Mervin raised his family in Regina and eventually retired from his career as a carpenter in Moose Jaw to care for his wife. Mervin loved the Lord, his children, grandchildren, camping, and fishing. He especially loved camping with his wife, children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Next to the Lord, family was of the utmost importance to Mervin. A service to celebrate the life of Mervin will be held January 7th at 11:00 am at Lee Funeral Home, 3101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK with a burial to follow in Fort Qu’appelle.
