Michelle Marie Zwirsky Miller

It is with unbearable sadness that we announce the passing of Michelle on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at the age of 40 years. Michelle was predeceased by her sister Beatrice Maria; and grandparents Sidney Zwirsky, Lloyd Gamble and Margaret Gamble (Bryson). Michelle is survived by her loving children Jeffrey Zwirsky (Kelsi Brown), Daysha Zwirsky and Liam Bassingthwaighte; her grandmother Helen Zwirsky; parents Sidney Zwirsky (Erlinda) and Lynda Gamble (Art Staruiala); six siblings, David Zwirsky (Tracey Boa) and their daughter Alyssa; Steven Zwirsky (Nikki) and their children Savanna and Haedon; Nicole Ottenbreit (Chad) and their children Memphis and Kenzie; Adam Staruiala (Jessica McSherry); Sarai Staruiala and Lindsey Zwirsky; her “bestie”, Cheryl Kapell (Todd) of Regina; as well as many dear aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. Michelle was born and raised in Regina. She lived a life of helping and caring for others. She always put her children’s needs and their best interests first before her own. She was presently working towards her degree in Engineering at the U of R, and at times would work as many as three different part-time jobs while at the same time taking four classes during a semester. She loved with her whole heart and those that knew her remember her beautiful smile and contagious laugh. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make donations in memory of Michelle to the Canadian Cancer Society, 440 2 Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK., S7K 2C3; Soul’s Harbour Rescue Mission, 3535 8 Avenue, Regina, SK., S4T 0T6; or to a charity of one’s choice.
