It is with heavy hearts that we announce Norm’s sudden passing on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at the young age of 65. He was predeceased by his parents Andrew and Irene Hamill; his mother and father-in-law Freddy and Irene Zech; and his special furry friend “Muffin.” Norm will be deeply missed by his daughter Chelsea (Drew) and her mother Donna; his girlfriend Marj and their furry friends “Bear” and “Frank.” He will also be missed by many other friends and family. Norm was a proud father, and his eyes lit up when his little girl, “Bubs” called him “Poppa.” He enjoyed travelling, and although his travel time was cut short, he completed his very first “Bucket List” trip to Australia, New Zealand and Fiji only one week ago. Norm was an advanced open water diver, avid fisherman and golfer extraordinaire. Although we are sad to lose him, we take comfort in knowing that he was surrounded by loved ones while playing the game he loved.
