It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert “Bob” Rozon, beloved husband, devoted father, and cherished grandfather. Bob passed away peacefully on April 30, 2025 at the age of 70 with his wife by his side. Bob was the loving husband of Barb for 49 years, a partnership built on love, loyalty, and mutual respect. Together they shared a lifetime of memories, joys, and challenges, but always remained best friends.
A proud father to John (Carleen), Damien (Danielle), and Janine. Bob’s love for his children was immeasurable. His role as Papa to Brody, Ainsley, Max, Isaiah, Jake, and Ben, brought him immense joy, and he was their biggest fan. He also leaves to mourn his siblings Bryan, Marina (Terry), Cindy (Art), Kerry (Melinda), and Tanis (Brian), as well as many extended family.
A kind and generous man, Bob was happiest when surrounded by his family. His quiet, gentle nature was a comfort to all who knew him. Whether it was a simple conversation, a shared story, or the laughter of his grandchildren, Bob found joy in life’s smallest moments. His selflessness was boundless, and he always put his family’s needs before his own. A truck driver by trade, Bob was a hard worker who gave everything for his loved ones.
He was the softhearted father who would always take the kids side, to the dismay of his wife. “Wait for your dad to get home” was a threat that never quite worked, because Bob would always find a way to soften the moment. His love and devotion to his family were unwavering, and he would do anything for them.
In later years of his life, Bob faced numerous health challenges that limited his ability to participate in the activities he once loved, such as attending his grandchildren’s sports events and family gatherings. This brought him a deep sense of guilt, but those who knew him understood that his heart was always with them, even when he couldn’t be physically present.
Bob is predeceased by his beloved mother and father. His legacy, however, lives on in the lives of his family and in the countless memories of love, laughter, and devotion he leaves behind. Bob will always be remembered as a quiet, kind, and loving man who lived a life dedicated to his family.
He will be forever loved, always remembered, and deeply missed.
A small Celebration of Life for close friends and family will be held at a later date.
“His love was a gift, his legacy a blessing. Rest in Peace Dad.”
