Dear Jean and family. you are in our thoughts and prayers. I was fortunate to have worked on the same platoon as Ron when I started  with RPS. He was a great guy with a great sense of humor. You could tell by the way he talked about you guys that you were his world. He will be missed by many.

Jean, Grandma Seiferling and family.  Words cannot even begin to express our sorrow.  May your heart and souls find peace and comfort during this very difficult time.  We will always remember his boisterous personality and how his face lit up when he would laugh (especially during our family Christmas Chinese gift exchange tradition) and how he red his face would get laughing if/when someone ended up with the ugliest gift.  I will also never forget the memory I shared when he volunteered to take me to his work for "take your kid to work day."  I can still remember how very professional he looked in his police uniform.  Such great memories of such a wonderful man.  He will be greatly missed in our family.

I remember Ron as a student and police resource officer at Miller Comprehensive High School. He was a man of principle, dedication and commitment to his work. I was proud to know him and have him in my school.

Our condolences to the Seiferlings. We have so many fond memories of growing up across the street from such a wonderful family.  Mr. Seiferling always had a large and positive presence in the neighbourhood - I remember thinking he was 9 feet tall and I remember his love of motorcycles. It was nice to know that you'd always be greeted with that big warm smile.  Mr. Seiferling will definitely be missed, lots of love.

Bill and I are very saddened to hear of the death of our friend and former neighbour.  Many a summer nights, we would wake up to sound of a motorcycle roaring up the street at the end of Ron's shift and the blaring of country music as he shut off the bike across the street from us.  With a sense of comfort that Ron had safely completed his shift and now was home for a well deserved sleep, we turned over and went back to sleep! Can't remember any of the country songs we woke up to, but this biking song by Dierks Bentley Ride On seems appropriate.  Our condolences to Jean, Shaun, Shauna and Shane!
