Shawn Micheal Wagner

July 26, 1979 – August 5, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Shawn Micheal Wagner on Saturday, August 5, 2023 in Thompson, MB. He is predeceased by his grandparents Henry Wagner, Fay Gibson and Jean Dobranski.

Shawn is survived by his mother Wanda Gibson and stepfather Gerard; father Sheldon Wagner; children Hayden and Elijah Wagner; girlfriend Tamara Spaan and her children Brooke, Brianna and Breighlee; sister Crystal (Tyler) and children Madisyn, Kaitlyn and Ryker; brother Danny and his children Jaden, Emma, Isiah and Adrianna; sister Amy (Chris) and her children Xander, Maira, Blair, Rune, Freya and Alexandria; grandparents Len Gibson and Geraldine Wagner; uncles Len (Barb) Gibson, Guy (Shiela) Gibson; aunt Cathy (Dale), and cousins Candace, Chace, Trustin, Mandy, Barrett, and Brendan; as well as numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins.

He will be laid to rest on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Wheatwyn Cemetery during a private family Interment. A Come and Go tea will be held at Markinch Hall from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. for friends and family to come reminisce about their favorite memories of Shawn.
