Yonas Abraha Mehari

It is with great sadness that we announce the tragic passing of your son, Yonas on Sunday, January 1, 2017 while visiting family and friends for New Years Eve celebrations in Saskatoon. He is predeceased by his grandfather Mehari Seleba, grandmother Letehaymanot Ketem, aunt Nigsti Mehari, uncle Russom Mehari, cousin Tesfay Kidane Mehari, grandfather Tesfamicael Nguse and grandmother Brchiko Asfaha. Yonas is survived by his father Bitsuamlak, mother Nebiat, brothers Beniam & Tesfalem, on his father’s side: uncle Teklemichael, aunt Mizan, cousins Semere and children, Eritrea, Natsanet, Awet, Besrat, Helen, Almaz (Ogbaie) and children, Saba (Yemane) and children, Almaz and children, Yordanos and children, Simon (Eden) and children, Michael and children, and Smret and children. On his mother’s side: uncle Tekeste, aunts Lemlem, Mahlet, Wdase, and Letebrhan as well as uncles Habtemariam Asfaha and family, Afewerk and family & Beamnet and family. Prayers will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017 at 7:00pm at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 11:00am at St. George Orthodox Cathedral, 2001 Edgar Street, Regina, SK.
