

Agnes Elizabeth (Schwab) Stamm, 91, of Exeter Twp., formerly of Reading, passed away at home on Tuesday, January 20, 2015. She was the loving wife of the late Wilson G. Stamm, whom passed away on September 29, 2001.
Born in Evansville on April 28, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Isaac and Theresa (Sayer) Schwab. She was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Reading.
Agnes was employed with the former TMW, now currently Arrow International as a laborer for 26 years before retiring in 1988. She enjoyed going to casinos and playing the slot machines. She also took pleasure in spending time at her place in Rehoboth Beach, DE where she would fish.
Surviving are three children: Carl R. Stamm and his wife, Sandra of Bernville, George W. Stamm and his wife, Gloria of Exeter Twp. and Linda Hamm and her husband, Donald of Shoemakersville; 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and a brother-in-law: John Heffner of Fleetwood.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Wilson; Agnes is predeceased by a brother, Frank Schwab and two sisters, Grace Kunkelman and Alice Heffner.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30am on Monday, January 26, 2015 in St. Peter the Apostle RC Church, 322 S. Fifth St., Reading, PA 19602. Agnes will be laid to rest beside her husband, Wilson in Gethsemane Cemetery, Reading. Family and friends will be received in Auman’s Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reading, PA 19606 on Sunday, January 25, 2015 from 7 to 9pm.
