Larue was born January 9, 1929 in Birdsboro, a daughter of the late Edna (Marsh) and Marvin Ludwig. She was a 1947 graduate of Birdsboro High School and was a Lutheran.
She enjoyed word searches and puzzles. She liked to watch the "stories" and General Hospital was her favorite. Larue was also very funny and famous for never delivering a joke correctly!
Larue is survived by a daughter: Judy Seyfert of Douglassville; five sons: Randy Seyfert and his wife, Jodie of Birdsboro, Stephen Seyfert and his wife, Joan of Robeson Twp., Scott Seyfert and his wife, Lisa of Oley, Robert Seyfert and his wife, Lois of Spring Twp. and Gary Seyfert and his wife, Vikie of Fleetwood; her step daughter, Gloria and her husband, Kenneth Kiebach of Wyomissing and her brother: Franklin Ludwig and his wife, Mardell of Birdsboro.
Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Larue was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Edna (Marsh) Ludwig; her husband, Robert H. Seyfert; her longtime companion, Jack Gillespie; her brother Robert Ludwig; her two sisters Elizabeth and her husband, Paul Bitler and Eleanor and her husband, Warren Doaty.
A funeral service for Larue will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 12:00 PM in Auman's Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reading, PA 19606. A viewing will occur Wednesday, April 4, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the funeral home. A burial will follow services Wednesday in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reading.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Larue's memory may be made to Heartland Hospice, 2201 Ridgewood Rd., Ste. 180, Wyomissing, Pennsylvania 19610.
