Born in Reading on December 27, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Madeline (McEllaney) Neatock.
She was a Lebanon Valley College graduate.
Barbara was an accomplished violinist and played in the Reading Symphony, the Reading Pops and the Berks Grand Opera. She had her own musical group named the Crystal Strings.
Surviving are three children, Randall A. Cherry and his wife, Julia of Reading, Susan Cahill of Gillette, WY and Linda Holland of Landisville; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren and a sister, Nancy Detra of Wernersville.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Auman’s Inc. Funeral Home, Reading is in charge of the arrangements.
