Charles John Reese Sr.

Charlie was born in Frackville on December 29, 1939 a son of the late Carl and Eleanor (Dodds) Reese.

He was a member of Hopewell Christian Fellowship and was employed by U.S. Postal Service as a clerk for 38 years retiring in 2003.

Charlie was an Army veteran and he enjoyed sports.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by his 2 sons; Charles J Jr and his wife Teresa Reese of Reading, Christopher J Reese and his fiancé Mimi Vicente of Muhlenberg, 3 grandchildren; Jessica, Kailey, and Zachary. Charles was predeceased by his siblings, John Reese, Carol (Reese) Arnold, Mary Jane Reese, 2 nephews, 1 niece, 1 great nephew and brother-in-law George Arnold.

Services will be Friday September 23, 2016 at 1130am in Auman's Inc Funeral Home, 390 W Neversink Rd, Reiffton. Burial to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. A viewing will be Friday from 1030-1130am in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Am. Diabetes Assn., 65 E Elizabeth Ave., Suite 502 Bethlehem, PA 18018.
