

Born in Lansdale on November 10, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Arthur L., Sr. and Anna Idella (Krieble) Banks.
Doris had many hobbies: crocheting, sewing, candle making, traveling, gardening, collecting dolls and cooking. She was a great conversationalist with family and friends and was loved by all.
Due to her health, Doris had been living in Spruce Manor, West Reading, where her husband of 65 years also resides.
Surviving is her loving husband, Robert D. Williams, Sr. of West Reading; six children, Eugene Davidheiser, Jr. and his wife, Genney, of Telford, Dennis Williams and his wife, Nancy, of San Antonio, TX, Sandra Hanratty and her husband, Joseph, of Leesburg, FL, Richard Williams and his wife, Celia, of Kyle, TX, and Kathleen Sutton of Laureldale; 18 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Also surviving is a daughter-in-law, Suzanne Williams, of Laureldale.
She is predeceased by her parents, four brothers, Arthur L. Banks, Jr., twins, Harry M. and Charles K. Banks and Robert S. Banks, a son, Robert D. Williams, Jr. and a daughter-in-law, Betty Davidheiser.
A funeral service will be at 12pm on Monday, May 4, 2015 in Auman’s Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reiffton. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home on Monday from 11am until the time of service. Doris will be laid to rest in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 237 Court St., Reading, PA 19601.
