Earl "Sonny" W. Bossler, age 87, of Wernersville passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2018. Born March 11, 1931 in Reading, a son of the late Walter R. and Thelma M. (Dierolf) Bossler.

Sonny was employed for 45 years with Penn Optical as a polisher before retiring in 1992.

He was a member of Liberty Fire Co., Greenfields Fire Co. and Lebanon Valley Sportsman Association. Sonny was an avid fisherman and enjoyed taking his nephews fishing. He had a passion for building model airplanes and remote controlled airplanes. You could find Sonny either flying the airplanes he built or flying kites. He enjoyed being out and about and was either walking or mountain biking.

Sonny is survived by his three sisters: June (Bossler) Hebhardt, widow of Robert, Betty (Bossler) Kreider, widow of Ed, Doris (Bossler) Eberhart, wife of Robert; two brothers: Bruce and Eugene Bossler and many nieces and nephews.

Services for Sonny are private and at the convenience of the family. Auman's Inc. Funeral Home, Reiffton is entrusted with the arrangements.
