Kelly William Cox, 20, of Exeter Township entered eternal rest unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 2, 2021. Born October 9, 2000 in Reading, PA he was the beloved son to Laura Johnston and the late Kelly Warren Cox.
Kelly was a Exeter High School graduate, class of 2019 and attended West Chester University. He worked at the Pike Café and was a member of Salem UCC, Oley.
Kelly had a passion for music and for sports, he enjoyed playing Football in high school and played Blacktop basketball in the summer. He was a WWII history buff who enjoyed talking about politics.
Kelly was an intelligent, introspective quiet man. If you knew him well or barely at all, he always left you thinking. He had a heart of gold and will be sorely missed by all blessed enough to have known him.
Kelly's spirit will be carried on by his mother Laura Johnston; step father Alan Bowman; grandparents Christine & Richard Hartline, Charles & Lori Johnston, Irish Cox-Gilbert and Russell & Brenda Bowman. Kelly also leaves behind his beloved dog Ollie to cherish his memory.
In addition to his father, Kelly was preceded in death by his great grandmother Iris Erb, and grandfather Kelly B. Wood.
A family & friends gathering to celebrate Kelly's life on Friday, June 11, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Auman's Inc., 390 W. Neversink Rd, Reiffton, PA 19606, followed by a memorial service commencing promptly at 12:30 PM, with Pastor Bob Whitmyer officiating. Burial will be private.
