Nancy Jo Hartman

Nancy Jo Hartman 78, of Fleetwood passed away peacefully May 30, 2017 in The Reading Hospital with her husband by her side. She is survived by her husband Albert P Hartman who shared 61 years of marriage.

Nancy was born in Reading on May 16, 1939 a daughter of the late Chester S and Ethel (Wolf) Youndt.

She enjoyed all children and had a special talent with children who have disabilities. Nancy was a member of St Mathews UMC where she was a Sunday School teacher for children of all age groups for over 55 years and she also initiated the food bank. She was a member of Hope UMC in Douglassville.

In addition to her husband, Nancy is also survived by her children; Cathy L and her husband Franck Legourd of Winnemucca, NV., Connie L Hartman of Fleetwood, Albert D Hartman and his partner Kathleen Bernhart of Mertztown, Stephen P Hartman and his fiancée B Susanne Spohn of Mohnton, Stephanie A Hartman of Sinking Spring, 7 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

Nancy was predeceased by her brother Michael Youndt.

Services will be Friday June 2, 2017 at 12 noon in Auman's Inc Funeral Home, 390 W Neversink Rd Reiffton. Burial to follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens. Viewing Friday 10-12 noon in the funeral home.
