Alice Virginia Lee

Memorial services for Alice Lee 82, of Renton, WA will be held Thursday, January 3 at 1:30 pm at Greenwood Memorial Park in Renton. Alice died December 19, 2012 at Valley Medical Center in Renton.

Alice was born April 8, 1930 in Esmond, ND to Thorvald and Betsy Olson. She was raised in Isabel Township and graduated from the BCATS at Maddock in 1948. Alice married Ralph L. Lee of Maddock March 27, 1949. The couple moved to Seattle in 1956 and eventually settled in Renton. Ralph died August 4, 1979.

Alice retired from Sears in 1994. She was a member of Renton Lutheran Church and a lifetime member of the Skyway VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Alice enjoyed dancing, bowling, bingo, baking and playing her piano and accordion. She especially enjoyed time with her family and friends.

She is survived by 2 sons: Ron Lee & Mary Bickerdike of Seattle; Keith (Patty) Lee of Kent; one daughter, Janice Davis of Kent ; 5 grandchildren, Travis (Jen) Lee of Maple Valley; Jennifer Lee of Kent; Garrett (Val) Bickerdike of Des Moines; Chad Bickerdike of Woodinville; Trent Davis of Kent; 3 great grandchildren, Nolan, Carson and Roslyn; one sister, Joy Sylling of New Rockford, ND; 2 sister-in-laws; Edell Grant of Renton; Erna (Lester) Ellingson of Grand Forks, ND

A reception following the service will be held at the home of Keith and Patty Lee of Kent. A reception will also be held at the Skyway VFW Post 9430 on Friday, January 4 from 2-4 pm.
