

Charles William Hawkins, age 80 of Renton, Washington, passed away on October 24, 2017 at his home after years of battling diabetes. Charles Hawkins, (known as Chuck to many), was born to Fred and Francis (Fanny) Hawkins who were residents of Roslyn, Washington. Chuck was the loving husband of Patricia (Pat) (Forcier), Hawkins.
He is survived by his wife, Pat, two daughters - Cindy & Tammy, and son - Charlie, nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Chuck is, also, survived by his brother, Frederick Hawkins and his sister, Charlene (Hawkins) Shriven.
Chuck worked on the Wing Line at the Boeing Plant in Renton, Washington until his retirement in July of 1995.
In his leisure time, he enjoyed relaxing around a big bonfire with his family and friends as well as spending time out on his swing, listening to his favorite hymns and listening and watching the local birds that would visit his yard. Chuck enjoyed camping, fishing and deer hunting in the Eastern Washington area around his hometown of Roslyn. He also enjoyed working with wood.
A Military Honor Memorial Service in remembrance of Chuck will be held on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington.
A reception to honor Chuck’s life will be held at his home in Renton, Washington immediately following the service. For more information regarding the memorial service or reception, you may contact Cindy at (816) 214-0867.
