
Fung Sinn Wong was born in China on March 21, 1925 to Toy Ming Mah and Bo Kwai Mah. She later arrived in the United States as a GI War Bride after marrying Edward G. Wong who served in the U. S. Army during World War II. They moved to Marysville, California where their son, Dennis, was born. Eventually the family moved to Seattle where their daughter, Benling, was born. Fung lived in Seattle until her death. She worked as a seamstress in the local garment industry for companies such as Farwest, Black Bear, Seattle Quilt, and Eddie Bauer. She was preceded in death by her husband and son. She is survived by daughter Benling, her husband Gregory Tuai and granddaughters Alexandra and Cassandra, and her husband Mike Snovel.

An open casket viewing for Fung will be held Friday, May 12, 2023. The hours to visit are 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. We would like Fung's visitors to know that this is not the typical funeral service, and this is a viewing to come pay respects and to say your goodbyes. Please feel free to visit at your leisure between the designated times of 11:00 to 01:00. This will be located at Greenwood Memorial Park Funeral Home, 350 Monroe Ave Ne, Renton, WA 98056.
After the viewing there will be a graveside burial occurring at 02:00 PM at a different location. If you so wish to attend the graveside burial the address is as follows. Lakeview Cemetery, 1554 15th Ave E, Seattle, WA 98112.
