Gary Francis Wiemann

Gary was born May 12, 1952 in Miles City, Montana, the son of Waldemar and Gladys Wiemann.

Gary graduated from Hazen High School in 1970, then went on to Univeristy of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA earning a Bachelors of Arts degree in Business Administration and Economics in 1985.

Gary married Sheila McNamara on January 16th, 1981 in Black Diamond, WA. Their son Tom was born on September 11, 1983.

Gary owned a Naturalizer shoe store at the Factoria mall where he met some of his closest friends. He was later a department manager for JC Penny’s for two locations including Bellevue Square and Southcenter. He then spent time as an account manager for a carpet fiber company and other companies before retiring in 2016.

Gary enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He especially cherished their cat, Buddy and his exuberant personality. He was a proud longtime Seahawks Season ticket holder and became season ticket holders for the inaugural season of Kraken hockey in 2021. Gary was passionate about several local charities and was actively involved until the very end.

Remaining to cherish Gary’s memory are spouse, Sheila; son, Tom and daughter in law Courtney; sister Linda and her husband Bruce with their 3 children and their families.

Gary’s family will be holding a reception at Greenwood Funeral Home in Renton, WA on Thursday October 9, 2025 from 1-4pm.
