Joseph Driscoll

Joe was born in Renton, Washington on May 10, 1950 and grew up in the May Creek area. He married Teresa on April 2, 1969; they were married for 48 years. Joe and Teresa moved to Port Orchard (or the country as they call it) in 2004 and have enjoyed working on their property since then.

Joe joined the Navy after high school and completed three tours in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged in 1972 and was a member of the VFW. He was a retired mechanic from United Parcel Service in Redmond, and Bremerton, Washington and was a member of the IAM. Joe enjoyed fishing, golfing, going to the casino, playing pool and playing with his grandsons. He really enjoyed spending time with his family. He was known and loved for his dry sense of humor.

Joe is survived by the love of his life, Teresa; daughter (punkin) Michelle Olson, her husband Dave Olson, and their children Tyler and Chase of Spokane, Washington; daughter (punkin) Jennifer Sherrard, her husband Nick Sherrard, and their children Nathaniel, Joshua and Noah of Renton, Washington; his siblings Beverly Anne of Allen, Washington, Darryl Driscoll of Sedro Wooley, Washington, Sandy Driscoll of Enumclaw, Washington, and Cheryl Chafin of Tumwater, Washington.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Neola Driscoll.

A potluck celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 25th, 2017 at 3 pm at the VFW Post 1263 at 416 Burnett Ave S in Renton.
