Judy grew up in Seattle, graduated from Franklin High School in 1958, and later from the University of Washington. Judy was a dedicated school teacher for over 30 years.
She was a devoted mother to four children, Linda Phillips (George), Bob (Tammy), Ron (Heidi), and Pam Nobis (John). She doted on and enjoyed her ten grandchildren and was thrilled to be a great-grandmother to thirteen. She is also survived by her two brothers, Carl O'Leary and Dennis O'Leary (Marie), as well as two nephews and one niece.
Judy found great joy in spending time with her family, and hosting many parties, especially her annual Lefse party. She was a talented artist and craftswoman, mostly painting with watercolors. She enjoyed staying active while working in her garden and attended many Volks Walks throughout the years. Most importantly, Judy was a lifelong Lutheran, whose love of Jesus guided her life and inspired those around her.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Judy on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024 at Merrill Gardens at Renton Centre in Renton, Washington from 12pm-2pm in the Boeing Room. There will be a place to gather to share memories and food.
