Lois Marie Dillon

She was born July 30, 1932 to Mike and Mary Will in Lastrup, Minnesota. She graduated from St. Francis High in Little Falls, MN and at age 21 moved to Seattle to live with her grandmother. There she met and married Patrick Myles Dillon. They had 3 children, Pat Dillon (Katie), Kevin Dillon, and Theresa Miller.

Smart and independent, with a great sense of humor she enjoyed people and a good conversation.

She worked in many capacities, as a real estate agent, in the office at St Anthony’s, and with Boeing for 18 years.

Family was her main focus and along with Pat, enjoyed their life and the lives and activities of their children and grandchildren. These included gardening, reading, vacations, holidays, swim meets, soccer games, concerts, dinners, dances and hosting a rock band in their basement.

Her great Aunt’s cabin and the beach were favorite destinations, and Hawaii held a special place in her heart.

Within the last 4 years three great grandchildren joined the family and she shared many sweet moments with them.

She is preceded in death by her parents Mike and Mary Will, siblings Myrna St Croix, Harvey Will and Yvonne Brannon.

She is survived by her two sons Pat Dillon (Katie) and Kevin Dillon, daughter Theresa Miller, grandchildren Kevin Dillon (Katie), Brian Dillon, Brendan Miller, and Lauren Miller, and great- grandchildren Alton Dillon, Stella Dillon, and Declan Dillon.

We would like to thank the caregivers at The Chateau and Valley Home Care for the loving and compassionate care they provided assisting her with the challenges of Alzheimer’s.

And very special thank you to Rhoda at Valley Home Care, with whom Mom shared a deep friendship.
