Mary Jeanette GEORGE, age 98, of Lewiston, Idaho passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021. She was born on January 5, 1923, to Alethea and Roy Henderson. She attended Duwamish Grade School and Cleveland High School.
She married Peter Carlson in 1941 and the couple divorced in 1956. She then married August George in 1958. She worked briefly for Sears-Roebuck and then made a career at the Boeing Company from 1954 through 1979.
Mary loved to spend her winters in Yuma, Arizona. She also lived for many years in Ocean Shores.
She was an active member of many churches; Duwamish Presbyterian Chapel, St. Andrew Presbyterian Church of Renton, Sierra Vista Presbyterian Church of Yuma, and Galilean Chapel Ocean Shores.
Mary is survived by her daughters Carol, and Laura; 4 grandsons, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Her parents Alethea and Roy, her husband August George, and her sister Maxine preceded her in death.
