Matthew Allen Mork

Matthew Allen Mork was born on March 29, 1988 in Renton, Wa. to Bud (Cliff) and Gail Mork. He passed into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, May 10, 2012 in Kent, Wa. Matt attended Cascade Elementary, Nelson Middle School and Lindbergh High School, receiving his diploma from Renton Technical Institute.

Matt was very affectionate and loving, quirky, talented and artistic. He loved his family so very much and enjoyed spending time with them. Matt loved his friends, camping and the river, music and art, and in his earlier years his beloved bikes and skateboards. He was an oven operator for Precision Aeronautics and worked as a landscaper.

Matt is preceded in death by grandparents and several aunts and uncles. Surviving him are his parents Cliff and Gail Mork from Leavenworth; sister and brotherinlaw Heidi and Veni Siitia, niece Hannah and nephew Austin; brother Jason and niece Lindy; Uncle Dallas (Linette); Aunt Marcella (Mickie). There are also many other cousins, aunts, and other relatives as well as friends whose hearts are hurting and will miss him so much.

Matt was baptized in the Cedar Ridge Church of Christ in March of 1999, and accepted Christ as his Savior. We believe he is whole and happy, with a healthy new heavenly body, looking down on us. Just waiting to be together again. We miss and love you Matt more than words can say, you are always in our hearts.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 25 at 3 p.m. at the Greenwood Funeral Home in Renton, Wa. 350 Monroe Av. NE Renton Wa.
