He was born to Dean Claude Swett and Ina Margaret Swett on Dec 6, 1948, in Grand Forks, ND.
He got married to the love of his life, Linda Marie Pounds on Jan 17, 1969. Together, they had 4 wonderful sons. Steve, Scott, Aaron, and Brian. 11 very loved grandkids and 2 great grandkids.
He served in the United States Marine Corp. after high school.
He worked as a freight forwarder starting at the age of 16. When he was 48, he started his own freight forwarding company with his son, Scott. He retired from that business at the age of 67.
Mick loved being outside—golfing, skiing, and quadding whenever he could. He also enjoyed traveling, especially riding his Harley-Davidson or driving his truck on long road trips. Lake Chelan and Phoenix were places he especially loved.
He will be honored in a memorial on April 25, 2026. The memorial will be at Canyon Hills Community Church at 11 am.
His unforgettable smile, sharp sense of humor, and genuine friendliness will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
