Nola Maye Reindel (Denney), 87, of Sacramento, CA, passed away on January 31, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of loving care giver and “mom” to many. A devoted mother and grandmother, she was always taking care of those around her – beginning in 1963 with her children, her husband in the 1990s as he aged, and grandchildren in the 2000s. She provided and cared for the people she loved the most and encouraged them to become the best humans possible. In her youth and again as she aged, she was a devout Christian making sure she was going to be well cared for after death. She was the family communicator/connector keeping everyone up to date on everyone, leaving behind several cousins who were much more than cousins to her, a son, Gene, two daughters-in-law, Jeannie and Shelley, and grandchildren, Stacy, Allison and Nolan. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, her eldest son, Terry, and her siblings, Nadine and Newell. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 2, 2026 at Tahoma National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her late husband.
