Randy was such a kind person and true friend. I will miss the twinkle in his eye and admire the brave man he was.

I meet Randy in the late 90s while he was working for R & D Sales in Tukwila WA.  I represented the landlord of the building leased by R & D, and Ric, his boss, appointed Randy to deal with me over lease issues.
Randy was a true gentlman and always was looking after the interest of Ric and their staff. We had several issues that came up in the 7 or 8 years I delt with Randy.  Randy was always able to make suggestions as to how to constructivly accomidated both parties interests. Everthing always ended on a happy note, which was Randy's nature. It was a priviledge and pleasure to have known Randy. We have all lost a good and sincere person.

Turning pages of the newspaper, I see the name of a high school friend. Its been almost 40 years since last I saw Randy and it brings a lump to my throat to think that this most positive of guys won't be around for another generation to know a real class act of a man. Rest well,in Peace, my man.

Goodbye my "Brother" I'm sure you are now in a better place and In the hands of our Dear LORD. I'm so sad that I could not attend your funeral as I am presently in the Philippines. My Love and Condolence to your Love ones, Martin. Leigh and Clint and family. hope you can still remember me.

I know you as Uncle Randy. It's been many years since I've seen you, but I've thought of and spoke of you often with my husband who never had the pleasure of meeting you! Recently on a family vacation, my Mom, sister Lainie and brother Carlo and I spoke of you and wondered how you were doing...I remember you as my brother, Carlo's Godfather, the trip we made to Disneyland, your Thunderbird's, all the yummy food my Dad and you would bring home after work from "The Chinese Kitchen", you, Dad and your friends playing poker for hours, and you, yes you were instrumental in my love to play Barry Manilow songs on the piano...these are fond memories I've held from my childhood...Thank You Uncle Randy, I love you...then, Pepper Acacio, Edy and Maria's daughter, now Pepper Sanchez.

Even though the years have passed and I haven't seen you since my childhood I hold fond memories of you. You were a brother to my Dad, Edy, Godfather to my brother, Carlo, friend to my mother, Maria and Uncle Randy to my sister Pepper and me.
I remember the mini vacations we had with you, riding along in your green Tbird and learning what speed "fast" in a car really was! Cruising along listening to Barry Manilow learning all the songs, all of us singing out loud together manifested my love for that artist til this day. I remember your yellow ski outfit and how we went and watched you look like a banana coming down the slope. All the many Chinese Kitchen food we grew up on when my Dad came home from work. And of course the times I would make money from all the poker buddies you and my Dad had, especially when someone was winning.
Over the years I've often thought about you and hoped that you were doing well. From reading your obituary I see you had a great life and wish that my husband and daughter had the opportunity to meet you.
Thanks for being a part of my childhood memories, I love you Uncle Randy, you will be missed.

Randy applied for a job with my company in May 1995. The interview lasted about 10 minutes , then we talked about muscle cars for an hour. I knew there was something special about this guy in the first few minutes that I met him. I called and offerd him the job before he could get home. Fortunately for me he took the job so I got the oppertunity to know him.
I consider Randy as one of my closest friends. It was always fun going to car shows with Randy, but he really enjoyed driving the cars in his collection. I remember his smile the day we got into a drag race on 128th and his Buick GS blasted by my SS 427.
The best was when Randy and Susan moved up close to us and we would call each other at 8 or 9 in the evening and just head out for dinner and laughs.
I will think of Randy often...............Rick

I will always remember and appreciate Randy for his true interest in our conversations, smiling face, and introducing me to the joys of riding in a cool convertible!  Randy took me on my first convertible ride when I was in grade school.  I can remember sitting in the backseat in the warm sun, with the wind blowing through my hair (more like slapping my face like a wild tornado!) as Randy explained the simple joy of taking a ride with the sun shining on our faces.  I will always fondly remember that ride with him.  It was Randy.  I will miss him.

I am so sorry to hear about Randy's passing.  High school was a memorable time because of Randy and his brother's Leighton and Clinton.  I am glad he had a wonderful life and friends to share it with!

"Where never was heard a discouraging word". I can not recall a single instance where Randy ever said something negative about anyone or anything. And every time I think of him, I smile. Thanks for the memories...

I met Randy several years ago by lucky chance, by being one of his closest neighbors. Over the years, we gradually became good friends and began socializing together through our mutual love of card playing. We've get together once a month for a boy's night out. It was during these times when we were together that I grew to know Randy better. 

The one thing I can honestly say that made Randy stand out in a crowd, and I'm sure anyone who knew him will agree, was that he was always so positive about everything. Nothing ever seemed to faze him. That was his nature. It was contagious--he was simply one of those people that are enjoyable to be around. Even during his last months, he maintained his thumbs up attitude. I'm so glad and privileged to have known Randy, and will miss him greatly.

Randy:

While the body shall lay in peace, your spirit shall travel forever and be remembered by those of us who grew fond of you. Travel well friend, may there always be 'wheels' under your feet.

Koebird (as we who knew him closely called him) - Nothing written can describe how much you mean't to our family, nor words could ever properly describe the love we feel for you.  You have been the best friend a guy  could ever ask for and the memories of our time working together, skiing, playing poker, working on cars and our dinners out with you and Susan were what made up the very fiber of my wonderful life. I will miss you my friend and will always be a better man for having known you and experienced life together with you.  To quote your favorite artist Barry Manilow you truly do "write the songs that make the whole world sing".  My heart now has a big hole in it where my buddy Randy used to be.  Thank you so much for a lifetime of love and friendship. Our sincere condolences go out to sweet Susan and the members of the Koe family.

Anybody who came into contact with Randy met a true prince of a man. I first met Randy over 23 years ago when I moved into an apartment below where he and Susan lived. Over the course of the next several years I made a wonderful friend. As I've sat here for the last several hours allowing my mind wonder to the memories I have they all point to just one thing (ok several). Randy was generous, honest, compassionate, fun loving, loyal and a man of integrity. It was truly an honor to have had Randy be a part of my life story. My sincere condolences go out to Susan and the members of the Koe family.

I'm saddened that you have left this physical plane, but I know that you will continue to support and love us. I've been seeing many reminders of you the past 24hrs (many classic cars, dim sum, etc.). Thank you for your smiles, laughter, love and time you've shared with me. I have no doubt that your spirit will continue to live on within each one of us who were lucky enough to have been blessed with your presence and love. Enjoy your new found freedom, Uncle.
