Sampson Naia Tevaseu died peacefully, although unexpectedly on June 9th, 2024. Sampson was a strong yet humble person that had a personality and smile which endeared him to all around. A devoted husband, a dedicated and proud father, a trusted friend were the best ways to describe Sampson. Whether it was playing college football, climbing the peaks in the PNW, running Spartan races, enduring endless rowing sessions, or earning his doctorate in cyber security, Sampson always pushed the limits both physically and mentally.
While he was known for his unwavering athleticism, intelligence, and compassion, Sampson will be remembered most of all for his kind heart. Unfortunately, it was this heart that took him away from us all too soon. Why bright and shining individuals like this leave us too soon, we may never know. We can only feel blessed that we had a chance to know this man.
Sampson is mourned and remembered by his Ohana. Ohana means family, and family means no one gets left behind or forgotten. He is survived by his loving wife Leigh and his two beautiful daughters, Claire and Grace. They are not only comforted by his enduring love, but by the care and support from family and friends alike.
Sampson is preceded in heaven by his father Paepae Senior, mother Manapule, brothers Tamapele and Paepae Junior. He is grieved for by his surviving sisters Doris and Pepe.
