Stephen (Steve) Paul Jarman passed away April 28, 2015. Steve was born to Donna and Jerry Jarman on March 26, 1960, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Steve was the oldest of four boys; Jerry David, John, and Jason.
Steve worked at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance for 8 years, before that he worked at Fred Meyers for 12 years, and Leeds before that. Steve attended Mount Rainier High School, before dropping out to help provide for his mother and his three brothers. Steve grew up always helping others before helping himself; this is referred to as Biblical love. Not only would Steve do anything for anyone, he was a big KISS fan and loved his rock and roll. Steve was a simple soul who just enjoyed being with his friends, family, laughing and having fun. Steve had a lot to say if you were willing to listen to him. It took some time for him to open up to people but when he did this is when the real Steve shined.
Steve is survived by his brothers John & Jason Jarman, his three nephews Camron, Aaron, and Ryan Jarman, and two nieces Brittany Jarman, and Karissa Doering and his sisters-in-law Jessica and Irish Jarman. Steve was preceded in rest by his parents Donna Dodge and Jerry & Millie Jarman, his brother Jerry David, his grandparents Eddy & Martha Dodge and Chub & Adel Jarman, his uncle Tommy Dodge, and his aunt Jean Jarman.
A celebration of life is planned for May 15, 2015 at Greenwood Funeral Home 350 Monroe Ave NE Renton WA 98056 at 3pm. There will be a memorial service followed by an enshrinement and then reception to follow at the Rock Pizza @ The Renton Landing.
In lieu of flowers, please give a donation the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance in Steve’s name.
