Warren Karl Pape was born September 17th, 1931 in Frederic Wisconsin. He grew up on a dairy farm in Centuria Wisconsin and then met his wife Sara May Ashbaugh while traveling in the Army. Sara was attending Eastern Washington University and Warren was stationed at Camp Hanford. They were married in Prosser Washington and enjoyed 68 years of marriage while living 61 years in their Renton Washington home. Warren Retired from Boeing as a paint supervisor in 1990. He was a charter member of Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Renton.
Warren played Senior Softball with the Northwest 80’s until he was 88 years old. He was an avid baseball fan, enjoyed fishing and camping and loved spending countless hours with his family.
Warren is survived by his wife Sara Pape, daughter and son-in-law Crystal and Douglas Weik, son Michael Pape, brother Louis Pape and brother-in-law Robert Ashbaugh. Warren has five grandchildren Mathew and Gabby Weik, Ciara and Brandon Vargas, Christopher and Rebekah Weik, Taylor and Nicholas Champagne and Logan and Kirsa Pape. He also has seven great-grandchildren Stella, Michelle, Jackson, Sterling, Baylor, Cooper and Piper.
