Bill, a lifelong resident of the Seattle area, was a Husband, Father of 2, Brother, Air Force Veteran, Machinist, and most importantly, a Man of God. His passion for sharing his beliefs with everyone he encountered led him to make many friends and pass on the light in his heart and soul. To quote Irish poet William Butler Yeats, “There are no strangers here; only friends you haven’t yet met”, was true as Bill greeted everyone who crossed his path with a smile, handshake, and genuine interest in the person he encountered. His ability to speak in puns, even during the challenging days of failing health, brought humor and smiles to family and friends alike.
Bill is survived by Linda, his wife of 56 years; his daughter Misty and her husband, Kent Kolbe; his son Jeremy and his wife, Stacie; granddaughter Chelsea and husband Isaac Funke, granddaughters Saige and Zoey Kolbe, and grandson Jason McDaniel; 3 great grandchildren, Aoife, Aine and Maeve; brother Casey McDaniel and his wife Barbara, and sister Kristen, and her husband, Paul Kristensen and nieces and nephews.
We are comforted by the fact that he is in heaven, free from pain and illness, celebrating with the brothers and sisters in Christ who have passed before him.
A memorial service and interment will take place on March 21st, 2025 at 2pm at Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 SE 240th St, Kent, WA 98042.
