Richard David Fleury

Richard D. Fleury, age 67, of Rhinelander, died, July 21, 2012. Richard was born in Rhinelander, WI, on January 31, 1945, and was the son of the late John and Edna (Nee: Wyss) Fleury. Richard is survived by his brother, John (Carol) Fleury Jr., his sister, Mary Ann Fleury, his daughter, Judy Fleury, his son, Michael J. Fleury and his grandchildren, Tyler Eades, Brandon Fleury and Jade Wakely. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Richard served in the US Air Force for 21 ½ years, retiring in 1990. In Richard’s military career, over 15 years, were served overseas. Including 3 tours in the Philippines, 3 tours in Thailand and 1 tour in Korea. Richard came home to Rhinelander, Wisconsin to work for almost 16 years at Trigs food and drug. In his retirement, he loved walking his precious dog, Mindy, fishing, hunting and was an avid Badgers, Brewers and Packers fan. He was loved by his family and loved his country immensely and will be deeply missed.

Memorial service will be Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Hildebrand Russ Funeral Home with Deacon Mike Harvey. Visitation will begin 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Inurnment will be on Monday, July 30, 2012 at the Veteran Cemetery in King. Hildebrand Russ Funeral Home, 715-365-4343 is assisted the family with arrangements.
