Brian Scot Caddell

He was born in Norfolk, VA on March 25, 1954. Brian graduated from Granby High School and later served the City of Norfolk as a police officer for 20 years. After being injured in the line of duty he was no longer able to continue his passion of being a police officer. Brian retired, moved to Texas, and continued to serve and protect his community in the home security industry. He later became a code compliance officer for the City of Dallas, where he retired in 2021 after 15 years of service.

Brian was a warm and outgoing person who was adored by many. His captivating smile, warm hugs, and comforting presence will be deeply missed. Brian loved being surrounded by family, going to the gun range, and working on his cars.

He was married to the love of his life, Suzette Caddell, on March 27, 1987, and enjoyed 37 years together.

Brian is survived by his wife and children Barry S. Caddell, his wife Kristen; Krystle L. Caddell; Brian S. Caddell Jr., and his wife Cassandra; grandchildren Liam, Connor, Emma, Ava, Olivia, CJ, and Bentley Caddell; his brother Colin R. Caddell, sister Elaine Callis, along with many sibling-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and close lifelong friends that he considered family.

A celebration of life will be held from 5-8 PM, on June 4, 2024, at Sparkman Funeral Home in Richardson, TX.
