Gary served in the Air Force, and retired from AT&T. He loved to scuba dive, working with models (planes, trains), motorcycles, working with his hands and building things, bowling, going to the gun range, and riding horses.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his children, Debbie Womack, Patricia Hart, and David Johnson; grandchildren, Haley Womack, Ally Womack, Kaitlynn Hart, and Michael David Johnson; brother, Ronald Johnson; sister-in-law, Norma Johnson; and son-in-law, Kevin Womack.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 12:30pm at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas, 75211.
