Gayle Paton Clelland, 75, of Richardson, Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 8, 2015. Gayle was born on Valentine’s Day, and grew up surrounded by a loving extended family in Ingram, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Crafton High School in 1958., and earned her Home Economics degree in 1962 from Penn State. On July 10,1965, Gayle married the love of her life, David H. Clelland. She exemplified a godly wife and mother. Her loving and generous heart supported her husband’s pastoral ministry. She counted having her six grandchildren grow up nearby as one of her greatest blessings!
Gayle is proceeded in death by her parents, John and Meryl Paton and brother, Jack Paton. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Rev. David H. Clelland; daughters, Becky Blasingame and husband David, and Susy Gregory and husband Richard; and grandchildren, Jake, Meg and Abby Blasingame, and Melinda, Andrew and Nathan Gregory.
A visitation will be held at Sparkman Richardson Funeral Home Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:30pm. The funeral service will be Saturday at 1:00pm at Providence Presbyterian Church, 10727 Midway Rd, Dallas, TX 75229.
