Georgia married her love of her life, Jacob Olif Haynes, Jr., on January 2, 1958 in Bainbridge, Georgia.
She is survived by one daughter, Wendy (Haynes) Armstrong, three Grand daughters: Raeley (Armstrong) Bryan and son-in-law Samuel Christian Bryan, Deanna Marie Haynes and fiancé Nash Bishop, and Elena Christy Haynes. Georgia is also survived by her baby sister, Carolyn (McCall) Bryant and brother-in-law, Ben Bryant, Great-grandchildren, Simone Delphine Bryan, Royce Atticus Bryan, and Braxton Nash Bishop as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her loving husband, J. O. Haynes Jr. , their son, Kevin Christy Haynes, and great-granddaughter, Selma Calliope Bryan (infant).
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Georgia will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at the Sparkman Richardson Funeral Home located at 1029 S. Greenville Avenue, Richardson, Texas 75081.
In lieu of flowers, the deceased family asks that a charitable donation be made to a Hospice or Palliative Care Service within your local community.
