Howard T. Newsom

Howard passed away peacefully on Friday morning Dec. 3, 2010.

He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his four daughters, Floye Walters and husband Joe from Longview, TX; Brenda Kipp and husband Edward from Trinity, Tx, Pam Newsom and partner Pat Humphreys from Dallas, TX and Tina Ralph and husband Michael from Placentia, California and eight grandsons, one granddaughter, twelve great-grandchildren, brother Mack Newsom, and sisters Jackie Franks, Algernon Basham, Ardale Bell, and many extended family and friends.

Howard worked for Camco Oil Tool Supply Company in Houston, TX for over thirty years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Houston, and served his country in the Army during WWII.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Sparkman Funeral Home on Sunday, December 5, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Services will be Monday, December 6, 2010, 2:00 p.m. at Sparkman Funeral Home.

Burial will be Tuesday, 2:00 p.m. at Brookside Cemetery in Houston Texas.
