

He was born in Terre Haute, IN on November 15, 1958. Jimmy graduated from Robinson High School and attended Lincoln Trail College in Illinois. He was married to Laura Kidwell on July 31, 2011.
Jimmy was a veteran of the United States Army, serving proudly for 10 years. While serving as a Telecommunication Specialist (31L), he was stationed in Korea, Hawaii, Cuba, and a few states with the nation. A few years after leaving the Army, Jimmy moved to Dallas, TX, and became a Communication Engineer for Verizon where he worked for quite a few years. He was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Jimmy had a passion for cooking, music, playing darts, hiking, and was overall adventurous.
He was the kind of person that loved to lead from the front. Jimmy was kind-hearted, loving, and sincere. He liked to take charge of any situation where he could, and teach those who wanted to learn. Jimmy was a happy and outgoing person, that would brighten anyone's day, even if it was the first time they'd met. His happy smile and quick wit will be missed and remembered by many.
He was survived by his wife Laura, his sons Joshua (Glendy), Rudy-Ray, and Branden, grandchildren, Rayden, Rudy-Ray, Jocelyn, and Jacob, brother Raymond, sister Patty, and many nieces and nephews. Jimmy is predeceased by his parents Roy and Dorothy, brothers Kenny and Bob, and his youngest son Jeremy.
